A very correct article on listening. I can fully relate to it because sometimes back I was also a bad listener. I also used to to just love to speak and hear myself as soon as somebody else started speaking I used to mentally switch off. But slowly I trained myself to listen. In the beginning it was a task but slowly it became a habit.

Truly its a good gift.

"People change when the pain of remaining the same is more than the pain of change"..Change though inevitable is largely perceived as unsettling, thereby causing people to stick to their comfort zones..Who would want to expand their boundaries again and again? We are good as we are,Thank you. They define it as being satisfied with little in their lives..consider it to be a good trait..defining those who want more in their lives as "not being easily satisfied" or "too greedy"..When such Moral issues creep into the picture, self growth not only gets stalled but its engine comes to a churning halt altogether. The churning wheels keep going round and round in the same spot causing bitterness, dissatisfaction, envy, false arrogance etc..and a wrong feeling of being morally correct..One of the BIGGEST BARRIERS to self growth..(just my two bits contributed to this article.)

Life is an ongoing learning process. We make errors, judgemental mistakes but the key is to move ahead. Take the things in your stride. If you keep yourself up nobody can make you feel low. Key to happy life is in our own hands. Look inside. Nobody can teach us how to live but for our own selves. Meet life full on.
